Rational was awarded with a multi-million dollar Phase II NIH SBIR grant for commercializing its high-throughput primary cell based assay platform. Optivia Biotechnology launched Opti-Assay, the industry's most comprehensive FDA-compliant transporter assay product line, which is based on the technology licensed from Rational. Rational entered into a collaboration with Optivia Biotechnology on developing high-throughput transporter assay platform. Rational filed a broad patent on controlled molecular delivery using sonoporation, and its applications in treating liver diseases. Optivia Biotechnology, Rational's partner on commercializing transporter technology, revealed its transporter assay service for beta-test. Rational licensed its patent-pending transporter assay platform to Optivia Biotechnology. Rational completed its NIH SBIR Phase I project with all goals achieved. Rational filed a broad patent on its Surefection technology and its applications in drug screening and profiling. Rational's human primary-cell based Omni-TF transcription factor profiling assay platform was available through drug discovery collaboration. Rational received a NIH SBIR Phase I grant for develping its high-throughput primary cell-based assay platform. |
